You may receive a High-Risk Braking rating even if you do not have negative braking events. This rating is the result of a trip that did not have any evidence of positive driving behaviors, such as smooth stops, versus the total opportunities of the positive driving behavior. The absence of smooth events can push that behavior to a High-Risk rating. The FICO® Safe Driving Score calculation accounts for positive and negative driving behaviors — a high percentage of positive events plus a lack of negative events on your trips are necessary to achieve high scores and low risk ratings.
