eDriving may hold personal information about a driver (in paper and / or electronic format) in an approved eDriving data center, where appropriate and permitted by law. Only information needed to meet the requirements of the employer’s driver safety / risk management program will be stored and available to the driver to review and update as needed. A driver’s manager, human resources, and / or EHS / fleet liaisons may access the information being held by eDriving with authorization. The term “personal information” includes:
- Employee or contractor, vehicle, and organizational data provided by the employer and / or approved fleet management partner(s).
- Driver’s license information, convictions, infractions, or citations received from a driver’s country (UK), state (US), or providence (Canada) DMV / DVLA (following execution of an approved license check consent by the employee or contractor).
- Collisions and incidents involving the vehicle driven for work purposes from the driver directly or approved accident/fleet management or insurance partner(s).
- Details of any risk assessment(s) completed by the driver, e.g., RoadRISK®.
- DriverINDEX® and FICO® Safe Driving Scores and other related data gathered from approved data sources.
Disclosure of Personal Information — Under no circumstances will any information secured be shared with any third-party, including insurance companies and brokers, credit rating agencies, federal or state authorities, or courts, without the written permission / consent of the driver AND / OR their employer as the data controller / owner of the safety program. Your personal information WILL be made available to your manager, EHS, and fleet liaisons and your local human resource manager as needed to support the implementation of the driver safety program with authorization from the data controller / owner of the safety program. Trend and summary reports, analytics, and continuous improvement research used to improve eDriving products and services will disclose only aggregated data that does NOT identify employees personally.
