Mentor by eDrivingSM is a smartphone app that supports your organization’s driver safety program. Mentor helps to encourage safe driving by allowing managers to see their team’s risks, identify areas of opportunity, recognize positive behaviors, and foster the right communication at the right time. It provides an overview of performance and compliance so managers can decide where they want to focus.
MentorSM Business:
Mentor Business is the telematics version of Mentor. It captures and analyzes trip data for patterns in safe and unsafe driving behaviors so drivers can focus on improving their performance and lowering their collision risk. It analyzes the following data:
- Behaviors (Acceleration, Braking, Cornering, Distraction, and Speeding)
- License checking *
- Collision / Incident data *
- RoadRISK® results
- Coaching and Playlist completion
The goal of Mentor is to help employees continuously improve their driving and lower their risk of being involved in a collision. Each trip receives a star rating. Those ratings are then compiled into a numeric FICO® Safe Driving Score, which identifies drivers most likely to be involved in a future incident or collision based on behavior patterns during trips taken in the most recent seven calendar days.
The Mentor Business app can help you see which unsafe driving behaviors you may need to address from your high-risk drivers. As the app learns more about your drivers’ individual driving habits, it will start to assign new Playlist items and Coaching sessions. You can also use the Circles messaging feature to connect with your team to share updates, such as informing drivers of hazards or changing weather conditions on their normal routes.
Mentor Insight:
Mentor Insight is the non-telematics version of Mentor. It can provide driver risk management by monitoring the following information:
- License checking*
- Collision / Incident data*
- RoadRISK results
- Playlist and Coaching completion
Each driver receives a DriverINDEX Score and / or Company Points so managers can address their team’s needs within a data-secure environment that protects driver privacy.
Mentor Insight can help you identify and support your high-risk drivers. As the app learns more about your drivers’ risk levels, it will start to assign new Playlist items and suggest Coaching sessions. You can also connect with your team to share updates, such as informing drivers of hazards or changing weather conditions on their normal routes.
